A Role Description and Person Specification  is required for every role that falls within the scope of the Church of England's Safer Recruitment and People Management Guidance.

This includes:

  • Any role that involves substantial contact with children (under 18) or vulnerable adults.
  • Any role that involves supervising or managing the above roles.

It is good practice to have a Role Description and Person Specification  for other roles too.
 

Why enable this feature?

This feature can be enabled or disabled for each role via the Role Settings in the Role Creator.

When enabled, the Hub can produce a Role Description and Person Specification  that is:

  • Quick and easy to create and update.
  • Based on a template that complies with the Church of England's requirements.
  • Consistent with the style of other role descriptions created in the Hub.
