There are two different methods for inviting people to be Hub Owners.  We recommend that you start by watching the above video in full-screen mode.

Since producing this video, a small change has been made to Method 1.  We still recommend that you watch the video, but then follow the steps below.
 

Method 1 - Email invitations

This is the best method for inviting Hub Owners for a single parish.

• Sign in to the dashboard tools at tools.parishdashboards.org.uk
• Select Search in the Safeguarding Hub section of the left-hand menu.
• Use Place Search to search for the Hub that you want.
• Select the name of the Hub to open the Hub Control Panel. 
• Open the Invitations tool by pressing the 'Change' button.
• Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
• Send.
   

Method 2 - Online invitations

This is the best method for inviting Hub Owners for a group of parishes (e.g. all parishes that have reached Level 3 on their dashboard).

• Sign in to the dashboard tools at tools.parishdashboards.org.uk
• Select Settings in the Safeguarding Hub section of the left-hand menu.
• Open the Online Invitations tool by pressing the 'Change' button.
• Choose the minimum level dashboard level at which online invitations will be displayed.  For example, if you choose 'Level 2', online invitations will only be displayed on Level 2 and Level 3 dashboards.
• Update.

This will display the following invitation on the relevant dashboards:

The above invitation will disappear once a parish hub has it's first owner - however, this first owner can then invite others to be owners too.
